Description

Brunswick Canyon Road runs north-south around the east side of McTarnahan Hill. It can be accessed form the south end via the Johnson Lane OHV Area by heading east on Sunrise Pass or from the north end via Sedge Road, off of South Deer Run. This trail is more of a scenic run, with some moderate washes and creeks to wheel through and awesome views of Genoa Peak toward the south end. Expect heavy snow during winter months when this trail will require a more capable vehicle and some experience. Otherwise, it is stock friendly (expect some mud and a little leftover snow during the beginning of spring).

Trail Recommendations / Other Info

During winter, expect heavy amounts of snow on the trail, especially when traversing the canyon where there is more shade throughout the day. A winch and a shovel are recommended, at minimum. During any other time of the year, the trail is mostly dry with some muddy areas and small amounts of leftover snow and can be driven by most stock 4wd vehicles.
