Description

The Dusy-Ershim squeezes its way between the boundaries of the John Muir and Dinkey Lakes Wilderness areas, running the Courtright Reservoir to White Bark Vista at Kaiser Pass This is NOT a single-day trip. At over 30 miles of rugged terrain, at least 3 full days should be allotted for this excursion. Camping is available along the route. The trail provides some amazing lake views, and offers many different types of obstacles. This is not an easy trail, and anyone attempting it should be well prepared and equipped to handle it. The trail is seasonally open from August 1st through November 1st.
